There are occasions when a Head Gardener is off work for an extended period through ill health or injury. There are times when a new, perhaps young Head Gardener is inexperienced at certain elements of the job. Occasionally, a situation arises where an employer has one or two gardeners in a situation where neither of them is classed as the Head Gardener and where outside supervision is needed. We have advisors currently operating in all of the above situations. Some work for one or two days a week at a garden, others for only one day per month. All will help to guide the existing team with work programmes and most are available for the gardeners to contact between these dates with any problems they may have.
